I've been collecting gemstone beads for years! And I am not sure why it's been so hard to decide to use them in a piece of jewelry. But not any longer! I broke into my stash and this summer, inspired by delicate summer desert colors, I created a few pieces that I feel will bring joy whenever you wear them.
This necklace features a central watermelon tourmaline set in 22K gold (silver backing) strung together with pale pastel to white faceted sapphires and 14K gold plated textured beads; 14K gold clasp.
You guys know that I always wear the jewelry I make at least once or twice to make sure it feels right and is comfortable - when I tried this one on, I always did a double-take when I saw its reflection in a mirror. It certainly holds a special place in my heart.
